Bellow Vacuum Pads

Our bellows suction cups enable the secure gripping and handling of workpieces with varying heights, uneven surfaces, or delicate materials. Their flexible bellows design compensates for height differences while providing gentle and reliable handling. Available in various diameters, materials, and numbers of bellows folds, they are suitable for a wide range of demanding vacuum applications.

Material Properties & Temperature Resistance

Each series of suction cups is designed and engineered for different applications. Below is a table to help you determine the ideal suction cup material:

Material  Temp. (Short time)  Temp. (Long time)  Wear resistance Oil resistance  Weather and ozone
NBR -20°C to +110°C -10°C to +80°C Excellent Excellent Good
Silicone -40°C to +200°C -30°C to +180°C Unsuitable Unsuitable Excellent
Polyurethane +10°C to +50°C +10°C to +40°C Excellent Excellent Excellent
Natural Rubber -20°C to +80°C -10°C to +60°C Excellent Unsuitable Fair
Hightemp. Silicone  -70°C to +280°C -50°C to +230°C Excellent Excellent Excellent
Fluorine Rubber -10°C to +230°C -5°C to +200°C Excellent Good Good
EPDM -30°C to +150°C -20°C to +120°C Good Unsuitable Excellent

Shore hardness

When handling workpieces, the material of the vacuum pad is critical for durability, cycle time, and product integrity. The Shore hardness (Shore A for elastomers) determines how "soft" or "hard" the vacuum pad is.

Shore-Hardness  Property When should it be used?
30°-40° Very soft Irregular, uneven surfaces; delicate products
40°-55° Soft Standard applications; balanced ratio
55°-70° Hard Smooth surfaces; fast cycles; heavy loads
